Come along to the flagship Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, near Romsey in Hampshire, from 4 to 16 June 2024 to enjoy an exhibition and sale of top quality art and design, created by members of the Wessex Guild of Craftsmen.
Two groups of Guild members will be showcasing their work, giving visitors the opportunity to see a different selection in the first and second weeks.
Showing from 4-9 June (10-5 daily) will be Linda Banks (stained glass artist), Sheila Barrow (textile artist), Ron Caddy (woodturner), Jo Cheer (printmaker), Vicki Hunt (digital artist), Jenny Morgan (painter), Cheryl Phillips (jeweller), Paul Rapson (sculptor), Jacquie Rolls (willow sculptor) and Vanessa Wells (digital art and illustration).
In week 2, from 11-16 June (10-5 daily) will be Julie Barker (woodturner), Elise Barkes (textile artist), Dorothy Borland (fused glass artist), Gordon Brown (photographer), Louise Brown (basketmaker), Nicky Heard (textile artist), Nic Monks (jeweller), Helen Murchie (textile designer), Lynn Nicholls (ceramicist) and Wendy Smith (painter).
The exhibition is located in the membership building (just to the left of the entrance kiosk) and there is no admission charge for the show. There is ample free parking at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, including disabled parking by the entrance. The Gardens charge an entrance fee to visit, which covers an impressive 180 acres of award-winning grounds and an arboretum.
There is a lovely cafe next to the Wessex Guild of Craftsmen exhibition, so plenty of refreshments on hand to enjoy while your visit. All members of the Guild have been selected for their outstanding craftsmanship and artistry, making this the perfect opportunity to view a wide range of beautiful and unique pieces under one roof.
