Honorary memberships for two deserving members

5th April, 2024 | 0 comments

At the 2024 Wessex Guild AGM, two long-serving members were recognised with Honorary Lifetime Memberships. These members are Jo Berryman and Susan Ware.

Both awards are well-deserved as Jo and Susan were founding members of the Guild over 45 years ago and helped to relaunch it when it had struggled to keep going in the early years.

Jo and Susan have both held roles on the committee, including Jo being Chair.

The announcement of the Honorary Lifetime Memberships was made in front of a packed meeting hall, with members old and new in attendance.

Meanwhile, Jo continues to make her accomplished pottery creations, ranging from bowls to sculptures and garden items. She will be showing her latest work with the Guild at Hampshire Open Studios at Upham Village Hall, Lower Upham, in August 2024.

Susan paints ceramics with her own fine designs. She will be exhibiting with the Wessex Guild at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in June 2024, plus at Hampshire Open Studios in August, where you can view and buy her work in person.

Congratulations to Jo and Susan!
