8th November, 2022 | 0 comments

For the first time, the Wessex Guild is holding a Christmas Shopping Event at the Brookfield Hotel in Emsworth, Hampshire.

The show takes place on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 November 2022, between 10am and 4pm each day.

Several Wessex Guild members will be displaying and selling their top quality art and craft work at this Christmas Shopping Event. Our new Chair, Bridget Bradshaw will be selling her unique jewellery designs in silver, some featuring beautiful gemstones; Wendy Smith will be bringing her stylish, contemporary acrylic landscape and seascapes, along with her colourful reversible bags; Dorothy Borland will present her colourful range of fused glass pieces, ranging from sculptures to smaller work; Sheila Barrow‘s accomplished and desirable textile art pictures will be making an appearance, alongside her pretty stitched cards; Vicki Hunt will be showing her finely detailed digital art and original paintings, plus delicate, hand-painted necklaces; Susan Ware will have a selection of delicately painted ceramic pieces, including festive platters and Christmas decorations; bold ceramic pieces will be shown by Karen Townsend, whose work is inspired by the coast and sea, and Helen Murchie will display her colourful bags and fashion items made from genuine Harris Tweed.

Given this diverse and exciting range of artists and craftspeople attending, there is sure to be something to tempt you for your Christmas shopping, to buy for yourself, or to decorate your home this Christmas. From a statement piece to a card, there is sure to be an item for you!

Of course no festive event would be complete without refreshments – so don’t forget to enjoy the hot drinks and cakes on offer too!

The Brookfield Hotel is on the main road into Emsworth from the A27. Address: 93 Havant Road, Emsworth, Hampshire PO10 7LF. Website: https://brookfieldhotel.co.uk
