Gordon Brown

I have had a keen interest in capturing the natural world since my parents gave me a Box Brownie camera at the age of 11. After years of being a ‘happy snapper’, in 2007 I decided to take things more seriously by dedicating more time to practising and learning my craft of photography.

I am now a long-standing member of a local camera club, I judge photography competitions and I run photographic workshops and classes. In 2018 I gained my associateship with the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS).

My interests cover landscapes, nature, the urban environment and sport. I have also become increasingly attracted to the documentary process, using panels of images to capture an evolving process.

My greetings cards reflect, and focus particularly on, my interest and passion for the natural world and I aim to create images with atmosphere and impact.
