Join us at Yellow Edge gallery for Hampshire Open Studios 2023

3rd August, 2023 | 0 comments

No less than 14 members of the Wessex Guild of Craftsmen will be taking part in the annual Hampshire Open Studios (HOS) event this August. This year, we are excited to be exhibiting at a new, smart venue, namely the Yellow Edge gallery in Gosport.

HOS is a well-established programme where artists and craftspeople from across the county open their doors and exhibit their art and artisan pieces. Particularly popular with the public are venues showing work by several different people and across a range of different techniques, as is the case with our group.

Visitors will be able to see top quality art and design in the fields of glass (stained glass, fused glass and sea glass), textile art, pottery, painted ceramics, jewellery, basketmaking, handmade pens, paintings in different styles, plus digital art. See a list of participating artists and click through to see their work via the Event page.

With prices to suit all budgets, from cards to large paintings, there is sure to be something to tempt you!

Our exhibition opens on Wednesday 16 August all the way through to Bank Holiday Monday 28 August 2023. We are open every day from 10am to 5pm (except 28 August, which is 10am to 3pm) .

Why not join us for our special Preview Evening at the gallery on Friday 18 August from 6-8pm and enjoy a glass of wine or a soft drink while you browse? Treat yourself to a unique artwork or bring your Christmas list and choose some lovely presents for friends and family that you can’t get anywhere else.

Yellow Edge Gallery is at: 107 Stoke Road, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 1LR

There is easy parking nearby.

We look forward to seeing you!
