Join us at Upham Village Hall for Hampshire Open Studios

26th June, 2025 | 0 comments

We are delighted to be returning to the lovely Upham Village Hall for the annual Hampshire Open Studios event (16-25 August 2025). After such a successful showcase in 2024, we have even more (17) members of the Wessex Guild of Craftsmen taking part this year, displaying their work and happy to chat about their processes.

This is your chance to see a variety of textile art, printmaking, baskets, ceramics, stained and fused glass, paintings in a range of styles, needle-felted pictures, jewellery, turned wood pens, digital art and more.

Across the 11 days of Hampshire Open Studios, different members will be demonstrating how they craft their unique pieces too.

This is a great opportunity to view and buy top quality art and craftsmanship all under one roof, with pieces individually crafted by Hampshire-based makers. Now is the time to buy that unique item that you can’t find anywhere else for your home or as a gift for a friend or loved one.

We also have Annabel Bakes Cakes returning to serve you delicious refreshments, including handmade cakes and treats, while you decide what art and craft to purchase.

Plus, if you fill in the entry form and post it in the box at the cash desk, there is the chance to win a £50 voucher for the nearby Brushmakers Arms pub, which has a great reputation for its food. So many reasons to come along – there is free parking at the hall too!

We look forward to welcoming you to our event.

Upham Village Hall is at Mortimers Lane, Lower Upham, Southampton SO32 1HF – on the junction between the Winchester Road and Mortimers Lane (near the Alma pub).
