Originally from Southampton, Jerry studied at Portsmouth College of Art and at the University.
Following a degree in computer graphics, he spent several years working in the video games industry, before moving to the Hampshire village of Swanmore with partner and fellow Wessex Guild member Vanessa Wells.
Jerry draws and paints landscapes of the Meon Valley and further afield, in a vivid representational style. He is often inspired by the light and shadows cast across the rural landscape, especially on sunny winter days by the Meon River and the old railway line.
Jerry also runs oil painting classes and does demonstrations for local art groups.
