Membership
Interested in joining other craftspeople from Hampshire and adjoining counties to exhibit and sell your work at events through the year?
The Wessex Guild of Craftsmen is strictly a members’ Guild, managed by a small committee elected annually by the membership.
All items exhibited or offered for sale at exhibitions and shows must be made by Guild members themselves.
Benefits of membership
- an individual listing on the Guild’s website with the opportunity to include contact details, social media links, plus list participation in Guild, and other, events
- access to the members’ forum
- the opportunity to be part of a group of friendly, likeminded craftspeople
- the opportunity to show and sell at regular events through the year
Application process
On receipt of your application the Committee will review your work either via photos attached to your application or on your website. If we require to see actual pieces, these will be requested.
Your application should be accompanied by a description of your craft, the processes involved and an idea of pricing, plus any other relevant information.
The Committee will inform you of the outcome and, if your application has been successful, you will be invited to become a Full Member of the Wessex Guild of Craftsmen.
Upon joining the Guild, new members are required to pay the following fees:
Joining Fee. This is a one-off payment of £15:00
Annual Subscription of £30.00*
*Note: for the first year, applications received after 1st July will benefit from a reduced subscription rate of £15.00.
