The Garden Show at Loseley Park

15th July, 2020 | 0 comments

Against a backdrop of postponed and cancelled events so far this year, it is exciting to be able to confirm that the Garden Show at Loseley Park, near Guildford in Surrey, will be going ahead this month, from 24th to 26th July.

The show will feature a great mix of plants, plus beautiful art and design for your home and garden. Among the sellers are Wessex Guild members Dorothy Borland and Pauline Collison. Dorothy will be exhibiting her extensive range of fused glass pieces, while Pauline will be showing her collection of handmade bears, along with bear clothing and chairs.

The organisers have been working hard to ensure that the event will be safe for visitors and stall holders alike. The layout of the fair has been altered to allow for social distancing and there will be hand sanitiser stations available. However, they advise you bring your own hand sanitiser, masks and gloves along too. They also remind you to maintain 2m social distancing in queues and 1m-plus in the grounds.

While it may be difficult to keep your hands off of the tempting goods on offer, the organisers ask you to refrain from touching items unless you intend to buy them.

Food and drink will be available to purchase, or you can bring your own refreshments along.

They also recommend you pre-book your tickets to visit and print them out for quick and easy scanning at the entrance. You will be able to buy tickets on the day as well, but pre-booking saves everyone time. Click here to go to the booking page, where you can find out the latest information from the organisers and buy your tickets.

While the circumstances will be a bit different for visiting Loseley Park this summer, the exhibitors will be very pleased to see you and to have your support for their artworks and products.

At the time of writing, the Stansted Park event, that was moved back from June, is set to go ahead on 4th to 6th September.
