I create real botanical jewellery set in 925 sterling silver, bringing together traditional craftsmanship and nature’s finest elements. Using handpicked flowers and botanicals that I grow and nurture in Hampshire, I preserve each piece through a delicate, bespoke process of my own design. Each piece is created over approximately a two-month period and honours both the natural colour and true form of the flower, allowing its individual beauty to endure.
I see my work as a contemporary approach to the long tradition of preserving and celebrating flowers. Each piece of jewellery is accompanied by a short written reflection exploring the symbolism and meaning of the plant or flower it features.
My jewellery is showcased through my brand Emily June Studio. Supported by both UK and international collectors, my botanical works are now held in personal collections across South Africa, Thailand and Japan.
I welcome commissions for those wishing to preserve a particular flower or plant and am happy to offer guidance on what is possible. I am especially drawn to creating pieces for meaningful occasions such as weddings, memorials, and celebrations, where a single bloom can hold deep personal significance and be transformed into a lasting, treasured keepsake.
Having trained as a sculptor at the Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford, I approach each botanical element as a miniature sculpture, working carefully with form and structure to highlight and honour the beauty of the natural world.
